​If you care to know what I have been up to, I have continued to develop some crafty hobbies and also started some artsy new ones! The crafty hobby is my knitting. Since being isolated in Virginia, I have finished knitting a winter scarf I began earlier this year, I have knitted a full baby blanket, a baby beanie and an adult slouchy beanie. Knitting is truly a wonderful hobby for me. It allows me to listen to my favorite podcasts or catch up on TV shows, while keeping my hands busy creating something! As for the artsy hobby, for my birthday I gifted an Apple Pencil, and with that I bought myself the app "Procreate." This app has got me learning all sorts of digital art from florals, water coloring and even lettering. Only a few days ago, a fellow peach friend asked me to create two logos for her! I did and she loved them! Never knew I'd be creating such staple graphics for myself, let alone my friends. It truly felt accomplishing and it also felt great to complete a project with such positive feedback.

So now, I am nearly in the middle of our run of Native Gardens and it has been such a fun, exciting, never ending laughter and just pure bliss. I am so grateful to be able to have this experience and meet these people and live through this adventure. Did you know this is my first professional straight play, that isn’t a children’s show? How cool is that? I hope to come back to this beautiful town and theater and be able to create with them again! Thanks Saranac Lake, Pendragon Theatre and God for this amazing opportunity!

For about a month now I have been in the Adirondacks, New York working on a wonderful production of Native Gardens at Pendragon Theatre. I have had the pleasure of getting to know this beautiful character named Tania who has a heart of gold and such a strong mind and determination, she truly is an inspiration to me. Along side her, I have met so many beautiful souls here in Saranac Lake, including my 3 cast mates and the production team for the show. Everyone is so lovely and genuine, and I have yet to find someone who has made me feel out of place. Even amongst this small yet super cute town, the people here are truly pleasant. All I can constantly think is, how lucky am I?
